More of an art than science, Planning is a critical function within the
Supply Operation that ensures product availability. Businesses are
required to have a constant dialog with the CMS (or EMS ) to ensure the
quarterly, monthly and weekly plans for their products are laid out
correctly, that these plans are being improvised to take care of the
changing business requirements and new demands trickling in from
customers on a daily basis. |

Achieve commit against the plans |

Oversee the execution into weekly buckets |

Working with the buyer/planner, ensure the component availability commit against the plan |

Achieve On-time performance against the Demand |

Develop visibility into weekly build metrics to highlight and address capacity, constraints, shortages, and quality issues |

Provide
key input to the Quarterly Supplier Reviews and Business Reviews as it
relates to the Aggregate Build Plans over the past planning horizon |
